Mowhay cottage is a barn conversion finished to the highest standard and finished in 2012. The barn is in a secluded hamlet court yard with far reaching views across the countryside and to the sea, it also has a private garden to the rear.
The first floor has a spacious open plan lounge with a pair of French doors overlooking the surrounding countryside, a settee and 2 arm chairs, TV, DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, grill, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The dining table is by a pair of French doors overlooking the shared courtyard.
On the ground floor the entrance hall leads to one double bedroom with ample wardrobe space, drawers and bed side cabinets and one bunk bedroom with hanging space and a chest of drawers. In the bathroom there is a shower cubicle and a bath, sink and toilet. The cottage has a washing machine and a tumble dryer. There is central heating via a oil boiler.
All the soft furnishings are co-ordinated throughout. There is a parking area with an allocated parking space. The bed linen is changed on a weekly basis, towels are provided. All electric and central heating is included.
We do allow dogs by prior arrangement, and we regret only available to non-smokers.
A welcome pack will be provided at the beginning of your stay, which includes produce from our farm, or local farm producers.
Local amenities include village grocery shops, post office, fish and chip shop, 2 local pubs, restaurants and beach café's. There are 3 beaches within walking distance from the cottage also Heligan Gardens and the Eden Project are a short drive.
Access Statement
From the parking area there are steps to a level area which leads to the front door which is disabled width.
This leads to a level area. Off of this area there is a double bedroom having a carpeted floor, a bunk bed room with a carpeted floor and a bathroom with a tiled floor.
The stairs go up to a half landing and then turn to go up to the open plan living area which is level and is floor boarded throughout.
