Walks to beaches near Treveague Farm on foot.

Treveague farm campsite is ideal for taking a beautiful walk to the beach, with 3 beaches surrounding our farm you are sure to find one that suits your needs. Being on the south coast of cornwall our swimming waters are quite safe and mostly calm, although we can get the odd day when a bit of surfing could be done this area of the coastline is generally great for families who just want to swim and play in the sea. Treveague farm was recently featured in a guardian article as one of the best placed to stay when exploring the south coast of cornwall on foot:

Gorran haven (beach shop, fish & chip shop, restaurant, pub & general stores)
Exit the camp site via entrance gate, turn right opposite the dovecote turn left through the gate, carry on between the farmhouse and converted barns. After following the path around to the right go through pedestrian gate on your left, stay on this footpath down through the valley at the bottom leave the farm via the kissing gate, stay on the path until you meet road, turn right it is now a short walk to the sandy beach.

Approximate time 10 mins.

Hemmick beach (no shops, sandy beach with some rock pools)
Exit the camp site via the top gate , go through the next gate keep the fence on your left until you come to the wooden gate leading onto the road, leave the farm here and follow the road straight ahead until you reach the beach.

Approximate time 15 mins.

Vault beach (no shops long secluded beach, sand and pebbles, rock pools, good fishing)
Follow the same instructions for hemmick when you meet the road turn left onto the narrow road, keep on this road go through another gate, carry straight on around the bend after a few hundred yards cut across the grass and pick up the coastal path, this will take you down to the beach.

Approximate time 25 mins.

N.B. The far end of vault beach is a naturist beach.

Please ensure you keep dogs under control, close gates and leave the countryside clean.
